Lori Kelly-Bailey

Vice President

Writer, Director, Producer

Lori Kelly-Bailey is an award-caliber filmmaker with more than 30 years of experience as a screenwriter, director, and producer. Her work blends rigorous historical curiosity with bold genre storytelling, earning both festival attention and commercial distribution.

She launched her career with Mineville, an epic period drama chronicling the rise and fall of the iron-ore industry in turn-of-the-century upstate New York, featuring performances by Paul Sorvino, William Sadler, and Nick Wechsler. Lori followed with the dark horror-comedy Silent But Deadly, starring Jason Mewes, William Sadler, and Jordan Prentice. After a successful two-year run on Netflix, Silent But Deadly secured full distribution through Inception Media and Shoreline Entertainment.

In 2018 Lori wrote, directed, and produced Garrow, a chilling examination of notorious serial killer Robert Francis Garrow and the 1970s manhunt that gripped the Adirondacks. Most recently she produced A Roadhouse Coup, an independent feature shot entirely in Otsego County that explores the life of Eva Coo, the historical “mallet murderess” and prohibition-era brothel owner.

Lori’s films are defined by meticulous research, strong performances, and a commitment to telling provocative stories rooted in American history.

Lori's Official Trailers

A Roadhouse Coup

Prohibition and prosperity will provide the perfect opportunity for local entrepreneur and brothel owner, Eva Coo, to commit a heinous crime.

Garrow

Robert Francis Garrow was a serial rapist and murderer whose reign of terror paralyzed the North Country between the years of 1960 and 1978. Born in Mineville, New York in 1936, Robert's childhood was an endless cycle of unimaginable horror. Beatings, sexual abuse, bestiality and bloodshed. As an adult, Robert would become a sadomasochist, rapist and serial killer. The exact number of his victims to this day remains uncertain. A knife wielding psychopath that could charm his victims before carving them to death. Robert was clever and cunning. He was able to manipulate the law, fake his own paralysis, escape from prison, and avoid capture for over a decade.

The Switchback Super Cut

Switchback is an indie feature film I served as DP on a few years ago that due to unforeseen circumstances had to be abandoned halfway through production and was never finished. I've been holding on to the footage for some time and now that the dust has settled I wanted to create a small video showcasing some of the best stuff we managed to capture of what we did shoot. Presented here is a super cut of 5 minutes of never before seen footage from the film in reel format. Special thanks to Jim Powers for the camera rental and to Adam Muro for the lens and lighting package and the amazing team that helped bring this story to life.

Mineville

Based on actual events, MINEVILLE explores the rise and fall of the United States iron-ore mining industry. Showcasing the plight of the early immigrant miners as they toil endlessly in the dark bowels of the Earth. Owned by the company and controlled by fear, the workers are driven to provide for their families.

Champ-O-Saurus

In the summer of 2014, three documentary filmmakers set out to debunk the myth of the Lake Champlain Monster. Town folks offered little in the way of cooperation. Then a reward was offered and the pranks turned deadly. This is their story...
